Medical and imaging practices are built around patient care, not managing contractors. When a door won’t latch or a toilet won’t stop running, someone on staff ends up hunting for help. With locations spread across Central Texas, that often means a different contractor in every town.

One call for every site

One multi-location imaging group we work with has offices across Central Texas, including four locations more than an hour outside Austin. Before us, they juggled separate door, plumbing and repair vendors by area. Today we handle the handyman work at most of their locations: door repairs, scheduled repainting, and plumbing and electrical service calls through our licensed plumbers and electricians.

We haven’t always agreed on everything. We have always responded.

When a fix didn’t hold

They once asked us to replace the weather stripping on a door. We did exactly that, and it didn’t solve the bigger problem with the door. They asked for money back.

We could have pointed out that we did what was asked. We could have handed over a discount and moved on. Instead, we changed how we quote.

Now, before a repair, we ask what’s actually going wrong. Then we tell you whether the fix you asked for is likely to solve it, and what the next step up would cost if it doesn’t. A repair that doesn’t hold is never a surprise.

It takes a few more minutes per job. It keeps you from paying for the same repair twice.
