Commercial door repair
The door works, or the building doesn’t
A door that won’t latch is a security problem. A closer that slams is a liability one. Most commercial door companies are built for storefront systems and automatic openers, and they price accordingly — which is why a sticking door goes unfixed for months. That’s the work we do.

What we handle
- Closers, hinges, latches and strikes
- Panic bars and push bars
- Handles and locksets
- Doors that drag, stick or won’t seal
- Frame adjustment and weatherstripping
- Interior and hollow-metal doors
When a door stops closing right
In Central Texas, foundations shift, and doors shift with them. Most of the door calls we get are alignment problems: a door rubbing its weather stripping, a latch that no longer lines up, a deadbolt that won’t throw.
We’ll tell you what each fix can and can’t do
Some fixes are close to permanent. Others often solve the problem but aren’t guaranteed to. At one building in Rollingwood, the client asked us to replace a door’s weather stripping. The real issue was that the door no longer sat right in its frame. We laid out both options: new weather stripping for about $195, which might solve it, or a full realignment, which would. We weren’t upselling. Some clients want the permanent fix right away, and some would rather try the less expensive one first. Either way, they know what they’re choosing.
Entry doors first
A front door that won’t close is a security problem and a bad first impression. At a medical facility in Marble Falls, the front door stopped shutting properly. The client asked us to come after closing, so a technician went out that evening, found an alignment problem, and fixed it before staff arrived the next morning. For entry doors, we try to get someone out the same day. Call to check.
Honest limits
Automatic sliding doors, fire-door certification and full storefront glass replacement need a specialist. We’ll tell you that up front, and tell you roughly what it should cost.
